The bungalows and grounds are lovely, but the beach area was a mess when we visited, covered in rubbish and not usable. Guests started picking it up while staff left it alone. We also weren’t keen on the restaurant. The staff seemed unmotivated, and during opening hours it was hit or miss whether any service staff were there.

Nice room and restaurant, right by the sea and surrounded by nature. A good stop when driving from Bangkok to Samui, and I’d stay again when heading north.

The beach is nice and breakfast was fine, but the lodging felt overpriced for a traditional Thai house. The extra charge for a 13-year-old was too high. Some of the entrance decorations could be dangerous if you hit them, and chickens woke us at 5 in the morning while we were trying to relax.

Oi gave us such a lovely welcome. We stayed in one of the small houses, which was nicely decorated, with a good bed that wasn’t too hard or oversized. A lot of beds here seem made for three or four people. The shower was spacious and separate from the toilet and sink, and the air conditioning was very quiet. Breakfast was much more than toast and eggs: there was ham, sausage, dumplings, and we could order an omelet or fried egg. The fresh orange juice was great, and dinner at the restaurant was very good too. Definitely recommend it.
