The pool towels from the front desk work for the beach too, and they leave water bottles along with tea, coffee, sugar, and powdered creamer each day. The fridge kept everything cool, and there’s a large closet with a room safe. The pool was clean and properly refreshing, not like bath water, when I went in early April. It’s a 30-second walk to the beach and about 12 minutes on foot to the noise. I skipped the restaurant because I like walking along the beach and finding places to eat.

Breakfast was great, and they kept the water, toiletries, tea, and coffee coming each day. We could walk to restaurants and even the Boxing stadium, and tour pickups came right to the hotel. It’s directly across the road from Patong Beach, so I enjoyed morning walks there. Bangla Road is a bit of a walk, which suited us because it meant less noise and traffic. We really enjoyed staying at Baan Boa. The trip was going perfectly until money went missing from our room. I know it was our fault for leaving it outside the safe, and I didn’t let that spoil the holiday.

The tour agency beside reception made arranging an airport taxi easy, and everything went smoothly. Breakfast was fine, nothing fancy, and starting at 6:30am worked well for my early tours. The pool is lovely and chilly, but refreshing, and you can ask reception for free towels. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a pool-view room, then were offered a free upgrade to one overlooking the sea, which was amazing. The location is perfect, right in front of Patong beach. The female receptionist spoke very little English, so we couldn’t get help with a wardrobe light that wouldn’t turn off. I eventually figured it out myself. The internet was awful, with a broken connection and poor service inside the rooms.

I’d highly recommend this hotel in patong beach. The pool was great, and the buffet breakfast was quite decent. The room had plenty of space, with big windows opening to the balcony that brought in enough light when the curtains were open. The location is perfect.
