The owner was friendly, relaxed, and very helpful, which made the stay feel safe and welcoming. Baan Veerakit in Patong, Phuket, is excellent value: the room was very comfortable and clean, with spotless linens, a big king-size bed, and a nice balcony. It’s in a convenient area, within 200m of a 7-Eleven, medical stores, and places to get food and groceries. The pool looks a little old in the pictures, but that’s a small thing. Everything else makes the affordable price worthwhile. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed around New Year, and it was one of the most blissful stays I’ve had. The owner is such a lovely host. We accidentally left our keys, and she made sure to bring them to us at midnight. I can’t say enough about that level of service, it set a real benchmark. You feel welcome here, and I’d definitely recommend this property.

Clean, affordable, and an easy stay with good privacy. The owner was funny and attentive, using a translator to land his punch lines and make us feel comfortable and welcome. It’s not far from Bangla market and Illiuzions club, with a 711 nearby. Massage parlours and bike rentals are right out front.

It may be a way to save a bit of money, but this definitely isn't a resort. The place didn't look like the pictures on the website, and there was a really strong cigarette smell.
