It's a caring, fun place rather than a party hostel, and I hope to come back one day. Nine house feels like a family, and the amazing staff make you feel at home enough that you won't want to leave. The hostel is clean, the beds are comfortable, and every dorm has its own shower. There are two common areas and a garden, and the centre is about a five-minute walk away. After midnight guests are expected to keep things fairly quiet for the neighbours, which makes it possible to sleep.

I was here in low season, so it could be different when it's busy. The hostel is relaxed, friendly, and a nice place to spend time, with a hammock, mattress, books, and pool table in the outdoor common area. The people you meet make the drawbacks easy to forget. Beds are good and have plugs, but there are no curtains for privacy, and getting to one four-bed room means walking through the six-bed room. Its shower and toilet are shared with the ten-bed room, though there's another bathroom downstairs. Breakfast starts at 9 and is prepared by the staff, so it takes a while. Don't count on eating here if you want to get an early start.

The owner is one of the kindest people I've met, and this is the best hostel I've stayed in. It's got a relaxed, easygoing feel, with hammocks all over and bonfires at night. Whenever I'm in Pai, this is where I'll stay. I'd give it 10/10 and recommend it.

It's easy to hang out with people here, but the atmosphere never gets rowdy. The place is clean, the staff are lovely, and the food they make is tasty. The layout works really well for groups. You can get around Pai on foot, though having a motorbike is much better and the walk isn't too bad. Great hostel, with a really relaxed vibe.

One of the nicest places in Pai, with a lovely atmosphere and staff. It's a little outside the city, about a 15-minute walk, which keeps things quiet and laid back. The rooms are another story for sound: you can hear everyone, including people using the toilet and people outside, and the floor squeaks so much that arriving late can wake everyone who isn't wearing earplugs. Breakfast costs extra and isn't anything special.
