The lack of guest support was frustrating. There’s no reception or on-site service, and everything goes through messages to the owner. When I found the safe locked and asked how to open it, I never got a reply. Cleaning also costs extra, around 600 Baht if I remember right, unless you request it. The apartment itself is modern and a decent size for a couple, with a comfortable king bed, smart TV, and a small balcony facing the pool. The pool is clean, about 20 meters long, and was nearly always empty while I was there. Bangla Road is about a 10-minute scooter ride away. But there’s very little nearby, not even a 7-Eleven within walking distance, so you’ll need a scooter to get around. There are maintenance issues too: a noticeable mold smell, damp-looking walls that need repair, mildew visible in the shower grout, and lighting that could be better. The air-conditioning unit on the balcony is noisy, almost like a boat engine starting. The outside of the building looks old and poorly maintained. I had a mixed stay, and this could be okay for 3-4 days depending on the price, but it needs better upkeep and clearer guest support.
