Grand Orlov Hotel

Grand Orlov was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, with friendly, helpful staff throughout my visit. Restaurants, shops, and the beach are all close by. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it if you value cleanliness, comfort, and good service.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and spoke English fluently. My room was spacious and comfortable, with everything I needed, plus a lovely balcony overlooking the street. The hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the main attractions. I warmly recommend staying here.

For anyone from Russia or Ukraine, I’d say this is a good hotel and I recommend it. I’m from Ukraine, but writing in English so everyone can understand. The beach is literally a minute away, with cafés, restaurants, massage places, and other points of interest nearby. You can borrow a beach towel for free, and there’s inexpensive laundry at the hotel. The location and people are great. The furniture is old and the walls are thin, but I’m not picky, so neither bothered me. What mattered most was that there was no mold in the shower or anything like that. Over my month-long stay, there were only a couple of nights when people laughed loudly enough to hear, and it wasn’t a real discomfort overall. Some insects showed up too. I googled them and think they’re called “plaster bagworms,” little dusty cases with moth larvae inside. They drove me crazy at first, and there were quite a lot when I moved in. I’m a modest person, so I found them and cleaned them up myself. After that, they appeared only now and then, maybe one a day, usually on the wall or floor. The staff were the best part. They were always kind and responsive, ready to answer questions or requests. The boss gave me a discount when I checked in. Special thanks to the non-Thai guy, an absolute legend. I’d always buy him a Coke from the shop when I came back. Everything was okay. I’d recommend the hotel, while also suggesting people look at other options.
