It's a quiet hostel, so don't expect events or parties. The room was clean, and the washrooms were neat and tidy. It's right in the heart of Patong, just a stone's throw from Walking Street, but set on side roads so the street noise isn't too bad. I arrived late in the evening, tired and with a cold, and asked for a bed as far from the AC as possible. They said the beds were pre-allocated and didn't accommodate the request. I didn't think it was unreasonable, and feel they could have tried.

The staff were helpful and spoke a little English for guests who can't speak Thai. The room was simple and clean, and the restroom was for the people staying in your room, which helps keep it tidy. The price suits budget travelers, but the service didn't feel low quality. Just keep in mind that the blanket is quite thin, so bringing your own jacket to sleep in would be better. I'd recommend this place to travelers on a smaller budget.

A great hostel booking in a very accessible area, close to Walking Street and other vegetarian restaurants.

I booked through booking.com and stayed at hip hostel patong for about two days. The hostel is close to the famous bangla street. My four-bed mixed dorm had an attached bathroom, and both the room and toilet were clean. I had trouble with the Wi-Fi, though. The receptionist was very good and helpful, and there's a small hall in front of the reception desk where you can relax. They have a locker for each bed, but you need to bring your own lock.
