The restaurant was the highlight of my stay at Nice to Meat You. The steaks were cooked just right, and the Italian pizzas tasted authentic. Staff were really friendly too. My room was clean and spacious, with all the amenities I needed. The location also worked well: an easy walk to the beach and Patong nightlife, while still quiet enough when I wanted some peace. For comfort, convenience, and the food, it exceeded my expectations.

Bed bugs in the rooms. Avoid this place. The owner clearly hasn’t resolved the issue, and it may affect the whole hotel.

The value was incredible, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. My room was very clean and had all the amenities I needed for the couple of nights I was there. There’s an Italian restaurant on the ground floor that stays open all day. I had plenty of breakfast choices each day and ate there most evenings. The owner has made this a lovely business.

Nice to Meat You sits on the quieter Nanai Road in Patong, away from the noisy crowds, and the prices are very reasonable. I went with friends and we tried three Roman-style pizzas: Burrata Pizza, 4 Season Pizza, and Zena Pizza with Ligurian pesto, boiled potatoes, and Parmesan. All three came out of a hybrid oven beautifully cooked, delicious, and easy to digest. Zena was my favorite by far. I’d happily recommend it for the excellent food, great value, and peaceful spot. The Italian cooking felt authentic.

I’d seen this restaurant marked as permanently closed, but it’s actually open. The staff were very friendly, and the food was great. I had a delicious carbonara. Worth trying if you’re after authentic Italian food.
