Nina's Guest House 2

The staff are nice and the room gets cleaned every day, but the place is quite run down for what it costs. The furniture has marks and the paint is chipped. The aircon is okay, though old, and the bathroom is fine. The bed, though, is really uncomfortable.

I’d warn other travelers to avoid this place and its host, Shelly. The listing calls it a “Boutique Hotel” with “Luxury Rooms,” but what I found was a shabby, run-down old guesthouse. Everything is ancient, the air conditioning barely works, and there isn’t basic furniture like chairs or bedside tables. There’s constant street noise, plus construction noise from the other side of the building. When I complained to Shelly about the loud construction right next door, she became extremely aggressive and used hate speech, telling me, “we hate people like you.” She also threatened to call the police to silence my complaints. I felt deeply unsafe and under psychological pressure. Airbnb Support eventually stepped in, classified it as a serious safety risk, and told me to leave immediately. They refunded all my remaining days. This place is neither luxury nor safe. Please avoid it at all costs.

It was a good place, and I loved the lady at the front and her husband ❤️. Just be aware there’s no lift!

I stayed for a week and enjoyed it. The price was fine, and the room was nice and clean. I wanted to stay longer, but they wouldn’t let me keep the same price, even though the guesthouse was quite empty.
