The view of Patong Beach from the room in the morning was awesome, and the staff were friendly. Belle trainee was especially helpful and friendly. There’s no lift, so I’d ask for the 1st floor or, at most, the 2nd. We’ve now used Orange car Phuket, which we found quickly on Google, twice and were happy with them both times.

The hill up to the hotel is steep. We walked it a few times a day, but older guests or anyone who has trouble walking might find it difficult. There’s a hotel shuttle bus a few times daily, and tuk tuks are cheap. We’re staying here now for my 50th and would definitely come back. The place is lush, with clean pools, restaurant, and room, and good Wi-Fi. Staff have been lovely and helpful. They even got on a bike to mail my Christmas cards so they’d arrive in time. Thanks, Patong Cottage, for the hospitality.

Being up high gives you a lovely view of the city. It’s a very nice place, but there’s no lift, so I’d choose a room on a lower floor.

The view is amazing, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It’s a nice spot away from the crowds, with staff who are mostly friendly.

For the price, I’d call it the best choice. It’s a cheap hotel with an excellent view, location, and staff. Recommended.
