Patong Central Residence & Apartment

The location worked well, near the main road, though the hotel is down a dark alleyway. It wasn't too bad, but as a woman I wouldn't choose to stay there alone. We left for another hotel and only returned on the final day of our booking because our flight was late. Staff were super friendly and accommodating when we arrived, but our first room smelled like pee and had mold in the bathroom. They changed it, and the second was cleaner, though it still had a funny smell and mold in the bathroom. There are signs everywhere saying the hotel isn't responsible for theft, including on the door, which made us feel unsafe. I don't know why it has such high ratings on Google and booking.com.

We stayed in the four-bedroom apartment and found it clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The location near the central area was really convenient. Staff were polite and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. I’d recommend it to backpackers and casual travelers looking for a good location.

The price was good, and the staff were genuinely humble and helpful. It’s not a fancy place, but the facilities were all great. A brilliant place to stay.

The staff were warm and kind, and the location was great. I’ll come back!
