The view is all this place has going for it. For the price, it’s a trap for Instagram addicts, and nowhere near comparable to other hotels in that category. The customer service was bad, too. Our apartment was badly built and poorly maintained. Half the ceiling was only about 170cm high, so I had to crouch to get in and out. The water pressure was also astonishingly strong. Noise was constant through the night: the crowded main street is right outside, and with the poor construction you hear every car and motorbike as if there were no door. The AC howled all night and seemed ancient. Ants and mosquitoes got in whether the entrance door or glass front was open, and the cleaning seemed rushed and badly done. See the pictures. We had a 1yo son who was meant to stay with his granny, but she couldn’t manage 10 days before we arrived, so we had to bring him. The hotel wouldn’t allow our kid and wouldn’t take even a cent off the almost 1000usd stay. I stayed one night because of all that money, and even that was a mistake. Don’t come here.

I loved having a private spot to look out at the ocean right in front of us. Both the room and the view from it were fantastic, and the staff were lovely, with great service and smiles. I definitely want to return, and hope lots of people get to visit.

The photos and the view are the only good parts of this villa. The bathrooms are gross and unhygienic, and it’s not worth what it costs. Leave the balcony open for more than 5mins and cockroaches get into the room.

I couldn’t sleep because of the heat, and when I asked to switch rooms, I was told the hotel was full. There was no urgency or sense of responsibility, and no customer care at all. I’d arrived at 10 PM to find the air conditioner completely broken. The only fix they offered was a cheap fan, at a supposedly 5-star hotel. There wasn’t even a receptionist at the desk, just a cleaning lady who couldn’t help. Having nobody available for guests at night is shocking. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The service is appalling, and this place shouldn’t advertise itself as 5-star. Avoid it, it’s a complete joke.

The view is okay, and that’s about it. The showers were cold, and there was no way to control the room temperature. Getting here means walking beside a busy road with little to no sidewalk. There’s no parking for cabs to pick you up either.
