The rooms are roomy and clean, and the property is well cared for. We slept really well since there wasn’t any bothersome noise. It’s a very nice hotel, just a two-minute walk from Nanai Road, about 20 meters away. The staff were welcoming. Highly recommend it.

The room was a good size, and the large, fairly shaded balcony was a pleasant spot for our morning coffee, even though it had no view. There’s laundry on site, but getting it done down the street costs less since this place charges by the item. The elevator gets stiflingly hot in the daytime because its windows face the sun, so take the stairs. There’s plenty of massage and food around, and the stay itself was fine, but rude management and waking up with tiny ant-like creatures biting us left a bad feeling. Maybe she was having a bad week, I don’t know. The worker was kind and lovely to be around, but the owner or management was rude to us from the moment we arrived. They also couldn’t find our booking records, even though I’d booked and paid for three nights in mid-January. I had to pull up the confirmation email before they showed us the room. If you stay, check the cabinets and bed frames for bugs.

We were there for six weeks, from late November to early January. Nanai Street is nice, but it’s too narrow to walk along and too far from the beach, so a motorcycle is a good idea. It’s only 20 meters from the noisy road, though, and we could hear birds instead of just engines. The price for what you get was pretty good, especially when booking directly. Our apartment had a living room, bedroom, small kitchen, and a big balcony, with rustic-style furnishings. Mosquito screens in the bedroom and living room meant we could keep the windows open at night, and the living room ceiling fan kept things comfortable. A few things bothered us: electricity cost 10B per unit, the open kitchen in the neighboring house had very strong smells, and people sometimes used the covered outdoor table and benches for private parties all night, which kept us awake.

It’s spotless, and the staff are really kind and helpful. Set at the end of a dead-end street, it’s quiet compared with some other hotels nearby. A really lovely place!
