I wish I could give zero stars. Booking this place was a complete nightmare. I was driving in very busy traffic and urgently needed somewhere to stay, so I booked and paid online. When I got there, I found it was no longer operating as a hotel and there were no rooms. Since the booking was non-refundable, it took me over an hour on the phone to try to get my money back. Be aware.

There's no hotel name or reception counter, perhaps they use it as the bar counter. The Irish Bar sign is the main landmark. I told the woman at the tour desk I had a reservation, and she called me. At first the room seemed clean, but the fridge was dirty and had half eaten food from the previous guest. For an unrenovated guesthouse with no meals, I think the price is reasonable. It's away from Bangla Road, but music and motorbike mufflers are still pretty loud. If you like the ocean and modified cars, that may not bother you at all, lol. People into typical surfers may like it quite a bit.
