Sea U Hotel

The room's basic upkeep was a problem too. The fridge leaked, the air conditioner didn't cool properly, the window locks didn't work when I arrived, and although one was fixed, the balcony door still wasn't properly repaired. It had no handle, so we had to pull it shut ourselves. The sliding entrance door wouldn't lock either. When I raised it, they said, “You’re not supposed to lock it anyway.” Unbelievable. The toilet was disgusting from the start, leaking water with dirty waste coming back up. Five days later it was still happening, and it became dirty again soon after cleaning. I had to ask for three days just to get it cleaned. It felt very disturbing and unhygienic. Water was cut off a few days ago, leaving us waiting two hours to shower and forcing us to postpone our plans. It's a vacation with limited time, but we had to work around the business's convenience. Now the water has been shut off again with no information about when it'll return. We need to shower and leave, but can't. My messages go unanswered, or get replies without any solution. A complete regret.

The next room they moved us to had no running water every few hours. They wanted us to switch rooms and took our things while we were out, dumping them in the lobby. Worst hotel, really a motel, that you could find. Not recommended at all.

The house is near budget cafes and 7-11, and about six minutes from Patong beach. It's right among the town's activities, yet on a quiet street. I had a beautiful balcony and spent many pleasant hours there. Everything was clean, cozy, and felt safe. Staying at the Sea U hotel was a great decision: the host was friendly and responsible. Room number 2 was so loud it felt like sleeping with all the windows open. The air conditioner was noisy enough that I had to switch it off at night. The bathroom was a catastrophe: the toilet seat was loose, and taking a shower flooded the whole bathroom. I booked seven nights but stayed one.
