Sunray Beach Hotel

The beds were comfortable and the Thai staff were lovely, but everything else made this the worst place I’ve stayed. The owner turned off the water every day, so we managed just one shower in four days. Whenever we asked for it to be turned back on, the owner lied and came up with a different excuse. We couldn’t flush the toilets or even wash our hands. They charge 500 baht a day if you leave the air conditioner on. If you don’t, you come back to a room that’s steaming hot.

The management and staff were lovely and accommodating, and the location was great. Our room was mostly clean, and the shower stayed warm with good pressure, which seems rare in Thai accommodation. The bathroom needed a little attention, the air conditioning needed a professional clean, and the TV system needs updating so streaming services work properly. It’s not a high-class hotel, but it’s close to everything and suited us for a safe place to stay, clean up, and get some rest. We were happy with our stay. Thanks, guys! 😊

We had a great time here. The room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the beach. Staff were friendly, quick to help, and accommodating with requests. Patong Beach is a short walk away, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a good spot for relaxing by the sea or heading out to enjoy the nightlife. Highly recommend.

The rooms feel so stuffy I couldn't breathe unless the balcony door was open. The bigger issue was the night shift staff trying to charge 500 baht for old damage in the room. Be careful, this place isn't suitable for families.
