I spent five days there and liked the place a lot. It had a little garden and a pool, and the Chinese couple who own it were just great.

Coconut Nanai was good value for the price, and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice, though the choice was quite limited. It’s a good spot if you want some peace and quiet, but getting to Patong beach takes about a 30-minute walk. I think there had been a recent refurbishment, as some things seemed to have been left unfinished in the bathrooms and doors.

We booked at the last minute and stayed three nights. The family room was spacious enough, but the washroom was tiny. The shower was very slow, and water got onto the commode while showering. The shower area needs to be separated. Breakfast was a very basic menu with few choices and no buffet. We skipped it on the remaining two days. The stay was okay, but I wouldn’t come back.

We had a good time, but seeing the fish in the dining room made me sad. It was alone in a really small tank of warm water with no room to move. I don’t think it can be happy there. It would be good to return it to its natural habitat. :(

I found the price affordable, and the place was close to the main road, so I could walk to just about everything. My room was very clean, the staff took good care of the resort, and the pool was always at a comfortable temperature. The beach was a short walk away. The owner and staff were so helpful. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and affordable, with clean rooms and everything nearby. ✨✨😀
