Tulip Inn

Good location, with Bangla Walking Street and Indian restaurants nearby. The room was spacious, and for the price it’s a great deal. There wasn’t really any service, though, as reception was handled by a tailor nearby.

The only good thing was being close to the beach. The room was extremely dirty, and my allergies got bad whenever I spent time in it. There were no outlets or desk, and room service was poor, with towels, bedding, and water not replaced. Often nobody was at the front desk during the posted reception hours. There’s no elevator, which didn’t bother me but could be an issue for some people.

There’s no elevator, which some people may mind. Apart from that, our stay at Tulip Inn was great, and the old reviews may give the wrong impression because the place has new management. The rooms were a good size and clean, with decent, well-kept beds and fine showers. It’s a very short walk to the beach.

I stayed at the Tulip Inn from mid-August to mid-November 2021, for three months. The room was large and very nice, and the cleaning was excellent. I really miss those morning walks on Patong Beach, right outside the front door. For what I paid, the room and location were great value. I have lovely memories of Phuket and this hotel.
