Vech Guesthouse Patong

We paid for a double room and stayed two days, though we left at night two weeks ago. The woman there was rude and aggressive with us throughout, and I felt she treated us in a racist way. When I asked for water, she said they only provide a bottle on the first day. There was no kettle, tea, or coffee. I said it was fine if they couldn't provide those things and we could buy them outside, but she shouted at me. Whenever we asked for anything, she told us to take our money and leave. It felt threatening and really disgusting. Customers who pay should be treated nicely and equally, and she needs to learn how to treat them.

The rooms are standard, nothing fancy, but perfectly fine, and the air conditioning was quiet, which matters to me because I have trouble sleeping when it's loud. The staff, including the Boss ciao, were lovely, funny, helpful, and cheerful. Everything was within walking distance, and the restaurant at the entrance cooked well with fair prices. I got a scooter by asking the boss and had my laundry done there too. We spent 10 days and had a really nice stay. ciao :-)

I found this place while searching hotel to hotel. The owner of another hotel pointed me here, as he owned both places, and he was a cool dude. The front desk staff were always around and very helpful. It's right by bangla road, and it's a great cheap place to stay. Excellent stay, I'd come back.

We spotted this Cafe while walking to the beach and found out it also rents rooms. We tried the American breakfast, which was simple, fine, and inexpensive.
