Neta Resort Pattaya

The balcony looked right toward the people living next door. The pool was nice, though it stayed in the shade between the building wall and stone fence. The hotel is close to the beach and well located. My room was simple but clean, and the minibar was just two complimentary bottles of water. There were only a couple of English daytime TV channels, and no welcome drink or refresh towel.

Getting to nearby food shops and the main attractions was easy. We only noticed on the last day that 7/11 was two left turns away, and going left was quicker for places like Walking Street and the beach. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and they printed our boarding passes for free, which helped a lot. The hotel was clean and presentable, with roomy rooms and a comfortable bed. The aircon seemed to have just one setting sometimes, but it worked. WiFi was fine for the first two days, then got so slow it would not load anything. Rain had left a little mould on the balcony, which we hardly used. The shower sent water across the floor every time, so we went through three towels trying to keep it reasonably dry. The pool was too deep for me and anyone 5'6 and under, but fine if you want to swim.

Everything was neat and clean, and there was plenty nearby, with nothing feeling very far away. The staff were friendly, the service was very nice, and the location worked well. I loved this hotel and would give it five stars.

I left my passport and all my money, 8k, in the safe and only realized when I was already on the way to Bangkok. I called the hotel, asked them to keep everything aside, and came back to collect it. It was all sealed in an envelope, with not even one dollar missing. That is great customer service. Really nice hotel, with big rooms, a good bed, a great location and friendly staff. Strongly recommended!
