Baan Captain Hook at Koh Larn

The large pool was lovely, and there were snacks and drinks nearby plus a good restaurant. You can also rent a motorcycle through the hotel. Our room had a big balcony, a comfortable bed, and great AC. It was spacious, and housekeeping did a great job every day. Everyone was friendly and clearly took pride in keeping the place clean and attractive. I'll be back.

The owner was amazing and always glad to help, and the staff were just as helpful. It has such a welcoming, lovely atmosphere. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

We were three, me, my 65-year-old mom, and my best friend, and booked a standard beach-side cabin with an extra cot at Baan Captain Hook beach hotel on Koh Larn Island. It was easy to get into town, and the hotel had a clean saltwater pool. The staff were so friendly, and I could see how much care they put into keeping everything clean and well looked after. They were always ready to help with a smile, which made the stay feel personal and welcoming. The room came with a motorcycle, but none of us was experienced enough to ride it, so we rented a golf cart from another company. Mom felt safer in that, and it made getting around the island easy while we enjoyed the scenery. We also used the hotel taxi to get to the ferry at the end, which was convenient. Breakfast was lovely, especially the rice soup with fresh ginger and herbs. There was also eggs and sausage for anyone who wanted meat and eggs. I just wish drip coffee had been available instead of instant. There was no filtered water either, though they brought bottled water each day. Still, we had no major complaints. The beachfront cabin, breakfast, friendly service, and access to town made it a memorable vacation. The hotel was a relaxing place to stay on Koh Larn Island outside of Pattaya.

Really liked the clean room and the quiet, well-kept pool. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, though. 9/10 overall, and I'd come back.
