You can get to shops, restaurants, the market, and nearby transport easily, and the view is amazing. The rooms are basic but decent, with a TV, air conditioning, and a fridge, though there’s no microwave. Noise was the bigger issue for me: music from the market played late into the night and started up again early, and the bass carried into the room. The bathroom setup is awkward too. There’s a large gap above the door and no vent, so odors spread through the room, which isn’t ideal if you’re sharing it.

Our confirmation on booking.com listed a family room with a balcony and sea view. At check-in, though, we were told that the family room was full and that we had only booked a basic room. That room was clean and everything worked, but it had neither the view nor the balcony, and looked nothing like the pictures for the room we’d reserved. There seems to be just one family room. I guess they overbook it and give it to whoever paid the most.

We stayed here on 22 Nov 22, my wife and I. I’d have liked to bring my fishing rod, ha ha. The balcony view was fantastic, but there wasn’t much else that stood out. If you enjoy a rustic feel, this place may suit you.

Construction noise started at 7am and woke me up on holiday. They kept at it until 12:00, paused once people were awake and out, then started up again after dark when guests were back and trying to relax. Power tools and hammering at 9pm were a major disrespect to customers. I’d recommend staying somewhere else. They don’t respect their guests.
