The biggest problem was the shower. At 2:00 AM, when I was about to use it, I found the hot water heater wasn’t connected properly and didn’t work. There was no staff around to help, so I had to take a cold shower late at night in winter season. That was extremely frustrating and the most serious issue of my stay. I booked one night, checking in on 28 December 2025, during high/winter season in Thailand. The rate was 5,600 THB per night including breakfast. I chose it for the sea-view photos and the advertised closeness to Tawaen Beach, but the room and experience didn’t match what I saw online. It was old, worn out, and poorly maintained. Finding the entrance was difficult, and there were no signs for the check-in counter. Staff were hidden behind it, and after walking around confused and frustrated, I had to ask people nearby for help before anyone appeared. For this price, that arrival experience was unacceptable. The room was bare: no TV, wardrobe, desk, or bath mat, and the bathroom had nowhere to put personal belongings. The power socket by the bed didn’t work either, and a technician couldn’t fix it. The sliding door also wouldn’t lock. Staff initially couldn’t fix it, and one person said, “It’s okay because this place is private,” which was irresponsible. The ground-floor room connects to other rooms, and anyone could potentially enter while my valuables were inside. A technician eventually fixed the lock before I left the room, but it shouldn’t have happened. This place was overpriced, poorly managed, and well below expectations. I strongly don’t recommend it. There are many nearby places offering better value, comfort, and service for the same price.
