Somerset Pattaya

As ASR members, we booked through the ASR app and got a Studio room upgrade on the 18th floor. The app was clearly cheaper than an OTA, so I'd recommend joining ASR and booking there. At checkout they also gave us a document offering another 25% discount at Oakwood hotel, part of ASR. We were very happy with that offer, and better deals are my main reason for recommending membership. The location was fantastic, on Second road with Central Plaza Pattaya only a minute away across the road. Our room was clean, housekeeping was good, and the staff were kind. The balcony was nice and stayed cool all day. The hotel welcomes children and pets, which suited us perfectly. Even with the 23/24 flood, the swimming pool was lovely, and the view from up there was stunning. The gym and breakfast area are on the second floor. I also had to work for one day, and the room was convenient for that. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for reading.

The rooftop pool was a nice spot to hang out and tan, and the gym was excellent, though it has limited equipment. I could still do most exercises with what was there. The shower was a clear 10/10: great pressure and quick to respond when I changed the temperature. Maybe it stood out even more after a terrible shower in Paris. We stayed from 21st to 25th May. The room was always clean, and the staff were excellent, very friendly, and helpful. There's a mall across the street and the beach is a short walk away. The breakfast buffet cost a little more than I expected, but the variety and quality made up for it. I was billed twice for breakfast once, but they handled it professionally and offered either a refund or for me to come back the next day. Since I was already planning to return after the meal, I chose that. The next day, they recognized us and welcomed us without question. Can't praise the staff and service enough.

The central location worked well for us, just across from Central Pattaya and within walking distance of the beach. We enjoyed a nice evening walk along the shore. The rooftop pool and kids' water play area were great facilities for families. We arrived around 12:30 PM, well before the 3:00 PM check-in, and the hotel kindly let us in early and upgraded our room. A lovely surprise. The room was clean, modern, and well equipped, and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. We had a very impressive stay and highly recommend it. 💙

There's plenty of dining and food options right by the hotel, which is next to Central Department Store. The lobby smells lovely, and my room was really clean and well kept. I also loved the strong shower. It's good value, with shopping and food nearby, and you can catch a songtaew to almost anywhere in Pattaya. A fantastic place to stay.
