Cosy Beach View Apartments, soi Kasetsin 9

I bought a studio here two years ago, and I still think it’s a fantastic place. The sea view is amazing, and there are two great pools. Staff are very nice, too. Pratumnack is one of the best locations, with plenty of good international restaurants and bars. Cozy Beach is only 200 meters away. ❤️

We rented unit 507 at COSY BEACH VIEW CONDO in November 2025 for a year, but left early after weeks of failed attempts to fix a serious sewage odor. It started in the bathroom and also came from inside the wall near the living room. The smell became unbearable and made it very difficult to live there normally. We reported it repeatedly. Management representatives and technicians came several times, opened the ceiling, inspected the ventilation, changed the shower drain filter, and tried other repairs, but the problem never went away. We told the owner we’d have to move if it continued because the apartment wasn’t suitable to live in, and eventually we did. Before we left, we were told our deposits would be returned since unresolved living conditions were forcing us out. After we moved, the owner changed his position and refused to return the full deposit. The condo itself is good, and I have no complaint about it. I just don’t know how else to protect myself and others. Very disappointing. Anyone planning to rent this unit should be very careful, inspect everything closely, and go over all deposit conditions in detail first.

The combination of facilities is hard to find elsewhere in Pattaya, and I’d happily stay here long term again. My one complaint is the number of coaches and Chinese tourists causing chaos around Pratunmak hill. It gets dangerous.

My friend and I both had the same problem here: they’ll do anything to avoid giving your deposit back. Be very careful if you stay.
