UPDATE: I came by today hoping to book a room, but there was no reception. Since my visit last year, the whole property has been renovated and has a different name. I’m not sure whether it’s still a hotel or something else. An older woman outside asked if I wanted to stay and quoted 1000 per night 🤣🤣. There are plenty of cheaper hotels in nicer areas than Walking Street, including places with swimming pools. I tried the number listed here and another one on the Booking dot com app, but it looks like they’re no longer registered there. The website doesn’t work either. Such a shame. OLD REPORT My room was huge, clean, and had a big window. I could rinse my socks and boxers in the sink and leave them by the window to dry quickly. The price was very good, and the staff were friendly to chat with. The hotel sits in a quiet alley, close to restaurants, convenience stores, bars, and clubs. A long beach is just a short walk away, with nice shops, massage parlours, and fresh drink stalls along the way, continuing into another district. They provided shower gel, towels, toilet paper, a safe, and a hot and cold drinking water machine that I used to refill my bottle. You can hear music from outside at night, but I could still fall asleep. I’d come back when I’m in Pattaya again.

I stumbled on this hotel just behind Walking Street and was glad I did. It’s tucked away from the noise, and the staff sleep in the front area, so only guests can get in. The woman who runs the place is called “Mom,” and she’s fantastic and very friendly. My room was clean, bright, modern, and a good size. The TV supported YouTube and other apps, there was a mini-bar fridge, and the AC was so powerful I had to turn it down lol. For the condition and location, it was terrific value. Thanks, Galaxy Suites. I’ll be back 🙏🏼

The room was good, and I was happy with the service. The female receptionist was very friendly, and there’s a mini bar with things like beer and Coke, among other drinks. I’ve attached the result of my WiFi speed test too.

Deluxe king suit. I really liked the place and would stay again, but you can hear the clubs all night, so it’s not a good pick if you’re not here to party. The mattress was probably my biggest complaint. I also couldn’t work out how to switch off some room lights. I asked the staff, but they didn’t seem to understand the issue 😅

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel staff are very helpful. You won’t get bored on this crowded street, and the rooms themselves are quiet. The suite is in a great spot on the second floor above a bar. Just know they only take cash, no cards.
