Gary was always around and ready to help, which made everything run smoothly. The room at GW Guest House was spotless and tidy, and I was very comfortable there. If you want a cozy, well-kept place in Pattaya with attentive service, this is a great choice. I had an incredible stay and highly recommend it.

If Pattaya nightlife is what you’re after, this place is an affordable base, close to gentlemen’s clubs and bars. It’s good value for the price, though probably not the best fit if you’re an early riser or a light sleeper. My room was very clean and got cleaned every day. The bed was comfortable, the shower was spacious enough with hot water, and there was a decent-sized fridge. Towels and water were supplied daily, but bring your own soap. I lost my key card on the first day and lost my 1000 deposit as a result. That was my fault, so I can’t blame the owner. He did his best to make me comfortable and was mostly understanding about what I needed. He’s friendly and accommodating, and can help you get oriented and understand Pattaya. I’d recommend it to people watching their budget and wanting to enjoy the nightlife.

The owner was easy to talk to and clearly cared about how guests were doing. When something went wrong, like the water, he communicated proactively and seemed genuinely troubled even though it wasn’t his fault. His efforts got the problems fixed quickly. Our room was spacious, the bed worked perfectly for me, and it was cleaned daily with fresh towels. We stayed for three weeks and had a very pleasant time. There are lots of bars on the street that stay open late, so it can be noisy at night. That comes from the neighborhood, not the guesthouse. I’d book here again next time I’m in the area.

Garry is a top bloke, helpful and funny, and a good person to ask about local entertainment if Pattaya feels overwhelming. The place is small, very inexpensive, and right in the middle of everything. I’ve enjoyed my three weeks here and would happily stay again.
