Happy Guesthouse

We stayed in the four-bed bunk room, and it was roomy enough for our group of friends. The beds were really comfortable and everything was super clean. Highly recommend this place. Don't let the negative reviews put you off.

The bathroom smelled bad and didn't seem properly cleaned, and the room felt dusty and poorly looked after. Sleeping wasn't easy either: the bunk bed was unstable, shook and rattled whenever anyone moved, and offered little privacy. The receptionist's sneering looks and disrespectful manner made us feel unwelcome, with no basic courtesy or customer service. This was an uncomfortable, unprofessional stay and wasn't worth the money. I regret booking and won't return. 👎

The toilets are disgusting, and the place isn't clean apart from the entrance. The toilets were yellowish and there was mold between the shower tiles. This hostel needs a good cleaner who'll use bleach and get everything spotless.

All night there was shouting, laughing, and doors banging. There seemed to be no control at all. The bed and sheets were dirty, with strange marks, and the pillow smelled odd, so I couldn't sleep. The bathroom was filthy, with stains everywhere, and the water suddenly stopped while I was showering. From the moment I walked in, the smell of mold, sweat, and something rotten hit me. The floor was sticky and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Staff didn't care when I raised the problems, just shrugged as if it was normal. One of my belongings went missing and nobody took responsibility. I felt stressed, unsafe, and very disappointed. It was cheap, but it cost me my peace. Never again.
