The street-facing room had music from the bars blaring straight into it. It felt like I was still in a bar, and sleeping there was impossible. I tried to cancel, but management wouldn’t let me. Communication was difficult too. The receptionist wearing a burka, whose name I don’t know, didn’t speak English and was very rude. I was staying at that hotel and it was a total disaster. First, there was no hot water in the shower when I checked in. An hour later I got another room where the hot water worked, but the remote control didn’t. It took another hour before I finally had a working remote. The rooms are very outdated and highly overpriced. There’s no pool at the hotel. If you want to swim, you have to walk 100 meters to another hotel’s pool. Think twice before booking. You can get a room in a better location with better facilities for about 500 or 1,000 baht less.

I visit Pattaya often, but this was my first stay here. I paid 10,000 baht for a month, with electricity and water extra. In the end it came to 13,000 baht, and I did have many guests. The room was very nice, and the staff were gracious, especially the cleaning lady. It was noisy, of course, since I was on soi metro, but I can sleep through anything.

The room was very big, and for the price I thought it was worth it, even though the place isn’t new. This area suits people who like nightlife. Music usually carries on until 3 or 4 am, so don’t stay here if you need to sleep early and get up early.

My room was very noisy, and I don’t trust this hotel. While I was out at night, someone went through my bags and stole my sunglasses. At checkout I was due 3,500 baht for five days, but the receptionist said I couldn’t have it back and shared the money with the cleaner. I’ll never stay here again. It doesn’t feel safe.
