Koh Larn White House

We booked at the last minute because we wanted to stay on the island and have a look around. The room was tiny, but the bed was comfortable and there were no bugs in sight. It's fine for a one-night vacation stay, though there isn't much else to say. If you're from America, think of a regular Super8. It was clean and quiet, with cable TV and hot water, and the price was good. There was street parking for bikes. Downsides: no breakfast, no ride to the boat, and no shower towels, if you're handicapped.

It's near the beach, although other properties face the sea. Everything is close together here. The room and bathroom were both small, but the room was decent enough for two people. Overall, it was a good standard place to stay.

We had a great experience staying at white House. We'd been cheated by another guest house and had to check out immediately, but the white house staff welcomed us warmly and helped us out of a bad Koh Larn experience. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and helpful. We highly recommend white house.

The bathroom smelled bad, possibly because of the water, though I can't say for sure. If that's the cause, other hotels might have the same issue. I didn't complain or look into it further. The location, though, was excellent, less than 50 metres from the beach, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops just around the corner.
