Kokotel Pattaya South Beach

The staff were polite and supportive, and the cleaning team took good care of the room. The hotel was neat and well maintained, and seemed to have mostly families staying there. It’s away from the beach but gives easy access to soi buakhao. The pool looked decent, though I didn’t try it. In keeping with the hotel’s effort to save resources and cut plastic, you fill your own water bottle. Dental kits aren’t supplied, so you need to ask at reception. The AC seemed old and weak, and took a while to cool the room. One night it stopped cooling altogether. Reception couldn’t do much and said a technician wouldn’t arrive until 10.30 am the next morning. They brought a fan, but it didn’t help much. The problem was fixed the following day. There’s no intercom phone in the room either, so you have to go down to reception if you need anything. Even with those issues, I had a good stay.

I had such a good time here that I’ll be back, and I’ll tell people about it. The AC was cold, the water was properly hot, and the shower was great. My room was spotless. When I got in touch with the front desk, Ying and Pop helped me. Ying was really friendly and spoke great English, which made me feel welcome. Pop was great too, opening the door for guests. They were both so cheerful, and it made me happy.

I’m writing this review really late, about three years after my stay. My family and I had a great time, and I still remember the hotel well. It’s my favorite. The workers were polite, the service and food were the best, and the atmosphere was lovely. Everything was kept clean, including the well maintained pool. Thank you.

We spent five nights here in mid February. The room was nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good, if not amazing. There’s a pleasant place to eat, and a good laundry nearby. It’s handy for Soi Buakhao, though one route is along a rough, unsealed road, and there’s another way to the beach. I used the pool every day, but its 2m depth gave me some concern since I’m 1.8m tall. I even considered taking the life ring in with me, so just be aware of that. Also liked that they have a fresh water unit instead of relying on plastic bottles.
