Lewit Hotel Pattaya, a member of Radisson Individuals

Our four-week stay at the Lewit Hotel was enjoyable and felt safe. The Deluxe room was pretty standard, with a TV, safe, kettle, large bar fridge, and a balcony clothes rack. The breakfast buffet had at least six main dishes, plus fruit, toast, pancakes, cereal, vanishes, croissants, salads, and congee. Coffee came from two machines using fresh-ground beans, with cappuccino, espresso, Americans, and more; tea, juice, hot water, and milk were available too. The staff were amazing. Nanthawat at reception and Mai and Supapornt in housekeeping were always helpful. When my wife needed hospital treatment, they helped us get from our room and call a Bolt. Nanthawat also scanned our medical documents so I could send them to my insurance company in Canada. The hotel is central to everything in Pattaya. The Baht bus stop to Pattaya beach road is less than 2km away on foot, or under 100 baht by Bolt. Restaurants on soi 5 and Thai restaurants on soi 4 are nearby, and it’s 2km from the Big Buddha and the newly opened Tops grocery store.

The checkout experience really showed the hotel’s poor communication. I had confirmed late checkout until 14:00, but the housekeeper knocked at 11:30 AM, ignored the Do Not Disturb sign, and kept knocking until we opened the door and explained the approval. Staff also seemed poorly trained and reluctant to help. When we asked for assistance, we usually heard “I don’t know” or “We don’t have,” with no attempt to find a solution. Our room hadn’t been cleaned properly when we arrived. The floor was dusty and covered with hair, as if it hadn’t been mopped since the previous guest. At night, it was extremely noisy: we could hear other guests bringing girls to their rooms, loud talking, rough behavior, and doors slamming. The walls are thin and block almost no sound, so resting was difficult. Breakfast was another letdown. There were few options, and the food was poorly prepared. The fried eggs were cold and oily, the fried rice overly greasy, and most of the other dishes were spicy and not suitable for breakfast. My stay at Lewit Hotel Pattaya, a member of Radisson Individuals, was far below expectations for a Radisson-affiliated property. The operations felt messy and unprofessional. I hope the General Manager sees this and takes it seriously for improvement.

The breakfast buffet was about what I expected for the price. The beach is close, with plenty of bars, restaurants, and massage shops nearby, so it’s comfortable for a 3-4 day stay. I was a VIP guest, but the benefits were minimal, which was a little disappointing.

We spent 3 nights here. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean and large enough, though the views weren’t much to look at. The location was okay, within walking distance of the beach and many other places. Finding a cab was difficult, especially at peak times. Breakfast was poor, with very few choices and the same things all day.
