LK Royal Suite Pattaya

My stay at LK Royal Suite was disappointing. The facilities weren't properly maintained, and the service was poor. The biggest problem was the front office staff. They were rude and unprofessional, weren't supportive when I needed help, and didn't treat guests with courtesy. Respectful communication and hospitality matter in the hotel business, and I didn't experience those here. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the facilities and the staff's attitude.

The staff were friendly, especially the gentleman on night security, and the location was great. But the room didn't meet my expectations. The wardrobes looked like they might fall on me while I slept, and the iron balcony chairs were so heavy they'd give you a workout just to move them. The room was nothing special, and I still don't see why they're called suites. In my opinion, without renovation the hotel will be completely ruined in a few years.

Reposted because the original was taken down. The stay was very poor, and I can't understand how this hotel has 4 stars. There was no breakfast or dining area available to use for the whole stay, with no offer of compensation for the missing facility. Reception staff communicated badly. I had booked an early arrival and had confirmation from the hotel, but still waited over an hour and was charged the full amount. Staff seemed uninterested when I tried to show the confirmation, and I felt like an inconvenience. The hotel is very old. The passage from the lobby to the wing was dangerous, ceilings were falling down, and old equipment had been left where someone could walk into it and get hurt. My room had broken electrical sockets, poor lighting, broken tiles in the small shower room, and very scaled, rusty showers that didn't feel clean. The glass-walled gym has no AC, so it's unused and, in my opinion, dangerous because of the risk of heat exhaustion. The only saving grace was the room cleaners. Don't keep the room key card next to your bank card in your wallet. I learned the hard way when two of my bank cards became useless after a couple of days.

I arrived at midnight and only needed somewhere to sleep for half a day. It's okay for a short overnight stay, but it won't win awards. The place is very old, and the shower was poor, with two handles I had to adjust by feel. There was also a large gap under the door, so outside noise came through easily. When I checked out the elevator wasn't working, so I had to carry my suitcase down several floors.
