Many Holiday The Base Condo

From the top floor lounge on the 28th floor, there's a great view across Pattaya. The apartment also has a pool, and the view from the unit takes in Pattaya city and Pattaya beach. The place is small, but well equipped, tidy, and nicely arranged. Check-in was confusing and hectic, with all the formalities handled at the gate, where the security staff weren't very friendly. It's a service apartment, so there are pros and cons.

The apartment was very clean and had everything I needed for a short holiday. It's small, with a really soft, comfortable bed linen. The central Pattaya location was ideal, but the place was away from the busy, noisy areas. Definitely recommend it.

Great spot for walking to Walking Street and Soi 6, and Kiss food nearby is affordable with decent quality. It's a cheap place to stay, though there were lots of Chinese tourists, probably the majority, so it might get rowdy. I booked on Airbnb with Candy, and the host made check-in and checkout super fast, so choose your host carefully. The guards were nice to me, helped me up to the apartment, and didn't ask for money at all. Maybe it depends on luck or on who the host is, since technically renting out the condo is illegal.

I had booked two rooms but got put in different towers. There were no toiletries in the bathrooms, and the check-in office was half a mile from the condo. The receptionist and owner were awful to deal with, very rude, and didn't know how to speak to customers. Don't book this hotel if you're expecting a pleasant vacation.
