March Hotel Pattaya

Don't pay extra for a pool or city view. My room faced a wall, and although they advertise city views, there don't seem to be any rooms with one. The one-star service rating is for the front desk: three people stayed tucked behind the counter the whole time, including during check-in. Get the cheapest room. The management seems much like the front desk staff, judging by the lack of response to both positive and negative reviews.

The manager and staff were rude from the start. They also demanded a 2.000 Bath deposit that wasn't listed on Agoda, the Booking profile, or even my confirmation. I had to walk 1 km to find a cash point among stray dogs, and they wouldn't let me in. Avoid this hotel on holiday.

For the price, Mars Hotel was good value, with comfortable accommodations and great amenities. But I had $350 stolen from my stash inside the in-room safe. I'd advise keeping valuables with you or somewhere more secure.

The one positive was that my room was cleaned daily. The rest of the stay was a major disappointment. We were kept awake until morning for two nights in a row by noise from the next room, and the corridors were constantly noisy, with guests shouting. People also went into the pool wearing underwear, which showed a lack of rules and supervision. Despite several complaints, reception did nothing. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and spoke without making eye contact. Even basic amenities like soap were missing, which is unacceptable in 2026. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
