There’s a proper air-conditioned dining room inside, as well as a nice terrace. The food was excellent, made with good ingredients by a real chef from Holland who spent the afternoon preparing it, and the service was very helpful. The downside is the location in Jomtien Complex, with lots of loud LGBT bars nearby.

Bart, the executive chef and owner, was kind and friendly, and happy to chat with customers when he could. The staff were attentive and welcoming too. I had the New Zealand lamb shank, cooked sous vide, and the sauce was amazing. I’ve tried lamb at plenty of restaurants, and this was the best I’ve ever had. It was good value, with sautéed potatoes, vegetables and béarnaise sauce on the side, a perfect match in my opinion. I also tried two red wines by the glass and enjoyed both. They brought me a coffee and caramel dessert on the house. A really good dinner, and I’ll definitely return, probably with a friend. I highly recommend Poseidon.

The rooms are wonderful, and the staff are among the best I’ve come across in Thailand. The restaurant serves great food at good value, and guests get free drinks and snacks every Monday night. I highly recommend host Heiko and his team.

I’ve stayed here many times, and the quality has stayed consistent. The rooms are great, with high-quality bed linen and towels, and the staff are helpful and efficient. Guests also get a great Sunday night cocktail hour. My only small criticism is that the TVs could be upgraded. If I stayed longer than three weeks, I wouldn’t go out every night, so Wi-Fi TV would be nice.
