Mirabel Resort & Mini Golf

We stayed two nights while looking for a dog-friendly hotel. The room was spacious, and there's a large area to walk the dogs. However, there was no daily room cleaning and the bed wasn't very good. The curtains were thin, and our dogs barked a lot because they could see the dogs that were on the property all the time. That got a bit annoying.

The owner and staff have put a lot of work into improving the place, including the food and service. We recently had a party there, and they helped us with all the details. You can get seafood and other food from the local markets, then have the Maribel staff cook it on the BBQ. Rooms can be rented for the party too, so people can have air conditioning or stay overnight if they want or need to. It's pet-friendly, so bring your dogs. There's mini-golf as well.

We only stayed two nights, but I'd love to come back. It's a small, family-run resort, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. Keeping a place like this going in a tropical climate takes a lot of effort, and I felt it was worth the price. Thank you, Mr. Remy, for making me feel at home. I really liked the two-bedroom apartment, its layout, and its features. Sitting on the terrace into the evening, with hardly any mosquitoes, was a highlight. It was fairly cool and breezy, and when I felt hot I could cool off in the little terrace pool. The water flows like a mini waterfall, which looks lovely and is relaxing to listen to. Bring your pets and kids. They're welcome to have fun as long as they don't disturb other guests. You can swim in the natural pools with or without dogs. The mini-golf is fun too. Some holes are head-scratchers, but there's no need to take it seriously or worry about par.

For a dog lover like me, it's inspiring that this may be the only resort hotel where you can stay and swim with your pets. The rooms have a nice resort feel, the food is good, and the owner is very hospitable. It's also a great location if you'd like to stay a little away from the busy parts of Pattaya.
