My wife only got a little makeup on a towel, but reception charged me 600 baht to have it washed. At first, the staff member wanted cash paid directly to him, outside the hotel register. I paid by bank transfer and checked out early because I couldn’t take that kind of cheek from the staff. The administrator and hotel team spoiled the vacation for my wife and me. I’ve never had reception treat customers so terribly.

It’s good value for the money, and the room service was nice. Some days, though, music from nearby taverns goes on until 2-3 am, so you may need earplugs. You’ll need Bolt to get to central Pattaya, and watch out for dirty sheets or towels, since they charge for them.

The staff were friendly, and they cleaned the room and left two bottles of water each day. I had a spacious, nicely designed corner room with a balcony. It all looked fresh and clean, with a microwave, cooker, fridge and sink. There’s underground parking, an elevator, and separate entrances on both sides of the building and from the parking lot. For this price, I think it’s the best you can get in central Pattaya.

It’s a basic hotel, but extremely clean, which is what we needed. The rooms are roomy and have plenty of amenities: microwave, fridge, AC, gyser, gas stove, TV with only limited local channels, plus plates, bowls and spoons. There’s no phone in the room, so without a local number you have to go down to the lobby to ask for anything. There’s no buffet breakfast, just a small cafe on the ground floor. Outside there are food places, and Big C mall is a two minute walk with just about everything. The main difficulty is that hardly anyone speaks or understands English properly, so sorting things out or having a conversation is a task. The food options could be better, and the lobby could be cooler, but no other problems so far. It’s only day one, and we have three more days here. I’d give it four stars.
