Mr.Mac's Place

There isn't a free breakfast, though I didn't really consider that a drawback with so many Thai street food vendors right outside. I had a good, satisfactory stay and would come back. The hotel is easy to reach from the bus station, and getting to other areas and tourist spots is convenient. My room was comfortable, with a nice bed and lighting. It was cleaned every day, and the washroom was clean with the bins emptied daily. The staff were very friendly. The air conditioning could be better, and staff said they'd take care of it. Free WiFi is available, but the signal was unstable and the speed poor, so I hope that improves.

We left a day early, even though we'd paid for 3 nights. The sheets were stained and had hairs on them, including pubic hairs, so it was obvious they hadn't been washed. The room lights flickered, and the bathroom looked like something from a prison. The shower head was broken and sprayed water everywhere. Nasty hotel.

The whole place is old and things are falling off. Mold is visible in the shower, on the wall and in the ventilation. The shower is just a pipe. There are animals everywhere, it smells of mold, and the bathroom is worse than a prison. Worst hotel I've ever been to.

The room was clean, with AC and coffee making facilities, and the wet room bathroom was excellent. It's a lovely, quiet hotel near a 7 eleven, bars, shops, massage parlour and restaurants. Breakfast isn't included, but there's an eatery next door. Recommended!
