For the price, you get a room right where everything is happening. Downstairs is great for watching people pass by, especially with a big Leo for 70 baht. I love this place.

I haven't stayed here, just stopped for a drink. You serve yourself, pay for your beer, then sit and watch all sorts of interesting people go by on the main stretch of soi Buakhao. No bar ladies bothering you. 👍😉

I've been staying here for the last 15 years, and just got back from another 9 nights. The room is basic, but what else do you need when you're right in the middle of everything? My room stayed clean, with fresh towels and water every day. The chambermaid on my floor was lovely, and the staff always greeted me with a smile when I picked up or dropped off my key.

The pasta stall is fantastic, and I’m heading down there now for a Leo. The bar downstairs is a nice place to sit back, have a beer, and watch people go by. You serve yourself and pay right away, so there’s no sorting out a bar bill later. I’ve met some really interesting people there.

The rooms feel dated, and the bar downstairs has a bit of a retirement home atmosphere. Sleep was the bigger problem for me: a nearby nightclub played music until 6am, and I couldn’t get to sleep.
