Orient Hotel

We were left without a room even though we’d paid months in advance, which caused a lot of stress. The staff were extremely rude and wouldn’t properly check our Agoda booking. They kept blaming “errors” without verifying anything, and even tried to charge us twice as much for another room. The hotel was very dirty, including the reception toilet, and the hygiene was poor. Completely unacceptable. I do NOT recommend it.

The room was dirty and smelled awful. The bathroom had no towel or paper holders, and the staff were unfriendly. Worst hotel.

The rooms are huge, the beds are super comfortable, and the TV has Netflix and other options. Cleanliness was better than average, the staff were responsive and accommodating, and it was very affordable. There were also serious maintenance problems. The toilet seat was broken off, and they just set it back on top, hoping gravity would keep it there. Worse, raw sewage smell kept coming from the kitchen sink and took over the room if I went out for several hours. Staff responded quickly when I reported it and disinfected the sink, but the stench returned within 24 hours. I ended up using laundry soap and keeping the drains closed to reduce the smell. Privacy was another problem in my room: there were big gaps in the wooden door, wide enough to look through and see the whole room. I’d planned to stay two weeks, but I never book that long before trying a place. After experiencing it, I decided against another week and moved to a different hotel.
