rocco villa

We were happy with the place and the memories from our stay. The location was great, with a sea view, and the service was good. Thanks for letting us use the scooter during our stay 🛵. The room was smaller than we expected, with nowhere to hang clothes, towels, or anything else. For what we paid, we expected a cleaner bathroom and more facilities.

We could get to all the main places easily, including the beach, local market, and Buddha viewing place, from this hotel in the heart of the island near the busy market area. Everything felt just a quick ride away, so getting around was convenient. The hotel also gave us a scooter for free for our whole stay, which saved us from renting elsewhere and made travel easier and cheaper. No need to arrange a scooter rental separately. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, putting a lot of effort into making the stay memorable. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, with plenty of choices for different tastes. Every dish was clean, fresh, and delicious. It was a perfect start to the day. The location, comfort, and service made this a real gem.

See the images for reference. This business seems willing to disregard regulations by discriminating against certified service animals, and it's incredibly concerning that they can't read messages about bookings. The regulation is outlined in the Thailand Gazette: Persons with Disabilities Empowerment Act, B.E. 2550 (2007).

The room looked great when we arrived and pickup was convenient, but the problems became obvious later. Noise from the club, karaoke, or bar in the building next door went on late, so it was hard to relax or sleep. The coffee machine was faulty, with no milk or spoons for drinks, and the pool had just one stair that felt too high to use comfortably. They also sent us off on the rental scooter without checking it, leaving us to sort out its problems ourselves. Expensive for the quality.
