I had an awesome 7-day stay in Pattaya, thanks to Sangwan Guest House. The staff were friendly and spoke Thai and English. It’s a good choice for an Indian stay, near Walking Street, about 10 minutes away, and Pattaya Beach is a 15-minute walk.

There are plenty of restaurants close by, with a Family Mart and 7/11 on the opposite lanes. It’s also easy to get around: Walking Street and Pattaya Beach are 8-10 minutes away on foot, and a Songathew is just steps away and costs 10 baht to reach Walking Street. The rooms were small and dirty, though. The bathroom was especially dirty, smelly, and cramped, and the place wasn’t maintained properly.
