Sunbeam Hotel Pattaya

The staff left the strongest impression on me. They shared plenty of tips about places to eat and nearby shops with the products I needed. One person even kindly offered to go pick something up for me and came back with the right item. They also booked me a reasonably priced car back to Bangkok, and that worked out very well. I chose the deluxe brew, which was nicely thought out, with a good bed, couch, and refrigerator. The room was clean, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. It’s a good four-star hotel, though not five-star, and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The breakfast could be improved. It’s in a busy area, so I wouldn’t suggest it if you want somewhere quiet, but it’s a good spot if you want to be among bars and restaurants, close to the beach. Thank you for a great experience.

Good location, though the hotel is old and only partly renovated. The pool area is cool, especially the bar inside the swimming pool. Big boss Jonny gave super service, mixing good drinks while DJing at the same time.

I liked the location, right in central Pattaya near the beach, shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The hotel itself stayed relatively quiet. The pool was a nice place to unwind, and my room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with good air conditioning and daily housekeeping. The bed was comfortable too, and the room met what I’d expect for this category. Reception staff were especially helpful and friendly, and both check-in and check-out went smoothly. Some parts of the hotel feel dated and could use small upgrades, service can be inconsistent at busy times, and breakfast was decent but nothing special. Still, it’s good value for a comfortable central stay, and I’d consider coming back.

I slipped and cut my foot, and Johnny gave me excellent first aid right away and checked on me again the next day. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very clean with a comfortable bed. It needed a little maintenance on the small doors, but otherwise everything was very good.
