The pool was a big part of my stay. It feels like a resort pool, and the water was always clean. I also had plenty of space in my 32-square-meter room, with a balcony. The cleaning staff were very efficient and thorough. Sofia worked tirelessly, and the front desk team were friendly and efficient too. There are a few things that need attention. The heavy wooden lounge chairs and wooden fixtures like the bed frame are dated and should be replaced. There’s no restaurant, though that didn’t bother me. On weekends, though, motorbikes and drunk people from the nearby bars made a lot of noise at night. Walking around felt dangerous because motorbike drivers, baht buses, and trucks were reckless. Be careful.

The air conditioning didn’t work, so I spent the night in 30-degree heat. I was also charged 500 baht for bringing two friends, even though nobody had mentioned that charge beforehand.

It’s easy to walk to the beach, nightlife, and harbour area. There are plenty of shops nearby, and stalls and shops sell fresh fruit every day.

I arrived in the early hours without a booking and just asked at the hotel. They had a room available, and the last-minute rate wasn’t too high. I was very satisfied and would definitely stay again. The location is handy, with food, a Seven-Eleven, and massage places close by. My standard room was spacious and clean, with no frills, a balcony, a good-sized fridge, and air conditioning that worked well. The hot shower and Wi-Fi were fine, and the firm bed was still comfortable enough to sleep through the night. They provided bottled water and small shampoo and body foam bottles, but no toothbrush. A hairdryer wasn’t provided as standard.
