Cockroaches were everywhere in my room: on the bed, in the bathroom, all over. During the week I stayed, I saw hundreds, and some even crawled over me while I was trying to sleep. The cleaning was poor, and the staff seemed to finish early according to their own schedules. This hotel felt completely unmanaged, and the staff weren't friendly in general, especially toward Asians, who seemed to get even less hospitality.

I've stayed here many times, and it suits what I need. It's right on Soi Buakhoa, above LK Metro, with a decent pool and a Jacuzzi pool. There was no hassle at all with visitors coming to my room. Reception is a bit out of the way.

The rooms are a good size and clean, and the location is great. Works well for a solo trip or a family.

Room 25 was in really bad shape, and very old. The paint was peeling from the walls and doors, like it hadn't been redecorated in many years. There was no remote for the air con, so I couldn't change any settings. When the compressor kicked in, it was very loud and made the doors and windows vibrate. The ceiling fan worked, but it was so loose in the ceiling that I worried it might fall. Maybe there are better rooms, but not this one.
