Edge Central Pattaya Condo

I booked Edge Central Pattaya through Airbnb, and the room was clean and comfortable for a short or longer stay. Everything in central Pattaya was within walking distance, and the modern, well-kept gym, lounge, and shared areas made the place feel more like a luxury hotel than a condo. The rooftop pool was a highlight, especially at sunset. The panoramic view over Pattaya was incredible, and it's one of the best rooftop pools I've seen. Good value for the price, and I'd stay again. The lack of clarity around room assignments and categories was frustrating. We weren't told how rooms were allocated, and it felt as though the owner or manager simply chose at random. Price differences between floors or room types weren't explained either. When we asked about a solution, the manager offered a move to another floor only for an extra fee, with no clear pricing given. We were on level 6, and noise from nearby Go-Go bars was extreme despite the listed quiet hours of 23:00-07:00. Loud music, bass vibrations, shouting, and screaming continued until around 3:00 AM every night, making it almost impossible to sleep. This doesn't feel family friendly. We saw women outside the hotel waiting for customers and openly taking men to rooms several times a day, and the nearby adult nightlife and people shouting at night wouldn't suit a normal couple or family. The room also had cleanliness problems. The towels smelled musty and moldy, the room hadn't been cleaned properly, there were black hairs on the floor around the bed when we arrived, and the bathroom partially flooded every time we showered. There were some useful features: a modern key system, hairdryer, clothes steamer, proper desk, good charging options, and a small kitchen with a large fridge and microwave. The hotel is close to the beach, many restaurants, Thai massage studios, and the mall. Still, I don't recommend it for couples or families.

The building and interiors are nice, and both the gym and pool were good. The downside was waiting for the elevator and all the floor stops, though that's similar in other skyscrapers.

I celebrated my birthday at EDGE restaurant. The food was varied and delicious, and the staff were really friendly. The hotel also gave me a birthday cake. Thank you!
