The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillow, and a bath in the toilet/shower. I wish they'd provided a small towel. The staff were friendly, polite, and ready to help. Parking was available both indoors and outside. The pool and gym looked great, though I didn't get to use them. I felt a bit scared at night because there was no second lock on the door. People next door were knocking and shaking doors, and it was really loud. The food was okay, but there was less variety than I expected for a hotel this size. I only used the Coral one, so I'm not sure if another one had the same menu. They could have offered more choice in the food and coffee. The meeting room was spacious, but its stereo system needed improvement. The microphone, sound, and screen weren't as good as they should be. There were no nearby restrooms, so I had to go to another building.

The pool gets sunshine in the morning through about 2 pm in January, and the cool water felt good in the 30-35°C heat. There are only around ten loungers, though, and the included towels are small enough that I’d want two. Pool service could be quick or slow, but there’s no real rush. The repeated one-hour playlist became tiresome after a few days. From a fourth-floor City View room facing the pool, I could hear it until about 11 pm, so light or early sleepers may prefer Sea View. I paid around 15,000 THB for six nights at Bay Beach Resort Pattaya in January, good value for a four-star place. The room was roomy and comfortable, with strong AC, a TV, bathtub, bottled water each day, and dependable housekeeping. Cleaning often came late, around 4 pm, so I sometimes skipped it after returning from the beach. The hotel has been operating a long time and shows some wear: mirror edging, parts of the headboard, and slightly stained curtains could use attention, though nothing was dramatic. Breakfast leans very Thai, more like lunch than a European breakfast. There was fruit, yogurt, eggs, rice, and local food, but little cold meat, no cheese, and few gluten-free choices beyond rice and eggs. It worked for me, but Western breakfast fans should set expectations accordingly. A solid-value four-star stay with comfortable rooms, good AC, a decent pool, and friendly service, though breakfast, pool music, and minor wear are worth knowing about.

We spent a lovely stay at Bay Beach Hotel. The pool was fantastic, and there’s a bar right beside it. We also liked having breakfast outdoors and enjoying the atmosphere. There was plenty to choose from and the food was very nice. Our room was comfortable, and all the staff treated us kindly.

For the price, it’s still a reasonable stay, and I’ve now been here three times. The location is close to Jomtien beach, and the facilities are still great despite the hotel feeling a little old. This time I was on the fourth floor, though, and the room cleaning needs to improve. The shower curtain had black marks, with lots more black staining around the room.
