The building is in a quiet, convenient spot, about a 10-minute walk from Big C extra, and it seems well maintained for the price. There’s access control on every floor and security and maintenance staff around 24 hours. The pool, gym, and sauna are all pretty good. On the downside, the empty lot behind the building brings lots of bugs onto the balcony. The smoke alarms are extremely sensitive and can ring through the whole building. There’s no central ventilation, so indoors it gets a few degrees hotter than outside and very humid.

I rented a studio through Airbnb. It’s on a dead-end street, with Big C extra, convenience stores, small local shops, and plenty of places for Thai and foot massages nearby. Central Pattaya is about a 20-minute walk away, so the location worked well for me and I’d rent there again. The building is said to be 8 years old, though Pattaya’s humidity makes it look more like a 15-20-year-old structure. There are lots of units listed for sale if you’re interested in buying a studio. I’ve been here for 5 months, and the rent is very inexpensive. Pattaya Klang is a great location, with lots of good food places outside and friendly staff. Getting anywhere by Bolt is about 2 to 3 usd. The rooftop pool has great views, plus a sauna and steam room. There’s also a courtyard fountain and waterfall wall, which are a nice touch. Great value and well maintained.

The apartments are compact but comfortable, right in the middle of town. A one-bedroom works well for a couple and has cooking facilities. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and Big C is a huge supermarket just a 5-minute walk away.
