The Freelancer Hotel

I arrived very early, on the right day, for a booking from about 3am to 11am that I'd confirmed online. But the front desk had never heard of me. I was tired and didn't know the area, so I paid a second time, thinking they'd sort it out later. They didn't. The front desk told me to contact the room "booking" company, and they were useless too. I've tried explaining the situation to this hotel three times, and nobody seems to understand. I'm never staying there again.

The room was so noisy that I couldn't sleep well at night, and the toilet was really bad. The WiFi was even worse, I could barely use it. Really2 bad experience. At the same price, I guess you can find a better hotel, so please look elsewhere.

I strongly urge people to avoid this hotel. After what happened, I checked out, spent the whole night at the police station, and returned to Bangkok early the next morning. The owner threatened me, and the staff and owner didn't support me when I needed help. Someone stole 30,000 baht from my shared room. I asked several times to see the CCTV footage of my room door, but the owner refused. I went to the police station and filed a complaint against the owner and staff, who had also assaulted me and taken my passport. I asked for help, but nobody came around 11 or 12 at night. When I returned with the police, the owner finally showed the footage, and I saw that someone from the adjacent room had entered and stolen the money.

The reception staff are friendly, and the food they serve is delicious. The rooms are clean and nice, with a great view 🙏
